The Stick & Cap Man
Every person has a story to tell. I really enjoy taking random street photos and when I later process the images I often see and wonder more about the image than at the time I took it. In this case, why is this man walking with a stick? Was he injured? Does he have arthritis? Is he a former soldier wounded in conflict? Has he had a knee or hip replacement? Where is he going? Where has he come from? Does he have a family? Is he isolated and lonely? The questions are endless yet he's just a man on his own with a cap and walking stick walking along the pavement. Although what we see in the image may be a simple scene, the story beyond that image could be very simple and uneventful or complex, powerful and emotional. You just never know.
