Barmston Beach
A small collection of photos from Barmston beach on the Yorkshire coast. This peaceful location in the North East of England has relaxing and easy walks along the beach and eroding cliffs evidence of which is constantly visible from collapses of soil and rock into the sea. This erosion is decimating pitches on clifftop caravan parks as they have fallen to the beach below. Rows of existing caravans are moved a few feet back to give them an extended life until the next collapse brings them close to impending doom. Whilst the views from these cliff edge caravans must be very enjoyable, I don't think I would ever relax being so close to potentially falling into the sea below if nature decides to take its course. Barmston is a pleasant location just a short drive from Bridlington where you can find many activities and things to do as well as some lovely coffee shops and boat rides to the headland to see thousands of sea birds and lovely puffins with their bright distinctive orange colours making them stand out from the thousands of other birds.
