Black and white images exploring all aspects of religion and religious practices in different countries of the world. Religion plays a significant role in the lives of the majority of the world's population and I am fascinated by the power, influence and control religion has over its followers. There is no denying that religion has made many positive contributions to the world in which we live. I hope to explore these places, the teachers, the followers and produce a variety of images portraying each of the religions from what I learn and as I see them through the lens of my camera. I will cover the main religions of the world including Hindu, Christianity, Judaism, Muslim, Sikh and Buddhism as well as exploring some of the less well known beliefs.

Tring Cemetery Graves
A tranquil cemetery on the edge of the small market town of Tring in Hertfordshire. When I was younger I avoided graveyards like the plague but as my grandfather once said, "It's not the dead you need to worry about" and I have come to realise this is so true. These days I happily wander into the graveyard and take a walk around this peaceful place sometimes reading the grave stones that populate the grounds.
